Please note

The Hooker Valley Track is currently CLOSED from the Muller Lookout onwards, while the Department of Conservation works on replacing one of the swing bridges. This is expected to be complete in Autumn 2026 so the track will only be partially accessible to the public until then.

QT to Mount Cook

Excellent tour, our guide Joe was very attentive and informative and the scheduled photo opportunities were timed perfectly to allow bathroom stops and to stretch our legs. Would highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi Tours.

Mt Cook tour Amazing

Thijs was out tour guide and he did an awesome job! Explained things well and was very friendly. Made us feel comfortable and the tour very enjoyable. Mt Cook was thrilling to hike! Beautiful day with amazing views! Recommend it to all coming to Queenstown!

Superb day with Cheeky Kiwi at Mt Cook

We had a wonderful day at Mt Cook through Cheeky Kiwi. The day was exciting and enthralling with plenty of activities and time to soak in the amazing atmosphere. Big shout out to Lynette and her offsider ( sorry forgot his name) for organising, driving and for their warm, engaging and hospitable manner. Fascinating day with the highlights being the hikes and the glacier views.

Mt Cook - a MUST do!!!

Cullen, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He gave us a lot of information on the way up to Mount Cook and offered some great suggestions. I ended up doing the heli / ski plane up to Mt Cook. Absolutely wonderful. Again, kudos to Cullen! He made it an experience for us to remember. He was very accommodating to different people doing different things.

Great day at Mt. Cook with Jonathan

Hi Cheeky Kiwi, I am traveling with four friends and had the good fortune to have Jonathan as a guide for our Mt. Cook. tour yesterday . It was a delightful day. The weather was perfect and the natural beauty of Mt. Cook was spectacular . Jonathan’s guidance and narration made the trip even more meaningful . He provided both historical and ecological information about the New Zealand region that made our day long journey very interesting. Jonathan was polite, professional and obviously proud of this wonderful country. As a result, we will recommend Cheeky Kiwi to our friends back home in the United States and perhaps plan another trip in the years ahead! Thank you very much for a job well done!

Magnificent Mt Cook trip

Our pick up location was a bit confusing for our group as we had different pick up spots . We sorted it all out with Jonathan. He was a great guide, very professional, informative, and personable. He had lots of info to share. He gave us great suggestions for how to spend our day at Mt Cook. Mt Cook is an amazing landscape. Great day! Enjoyed the ice cream on the way back. Lovely day all around

First time seeing snow

We loved our experience of Mount Cook with the snow with Cheeky Kiwi. It was my first time seeing snow. Highly recommend this tour. What a stunning day, spectacular views and thanks to our amazing tour guides Noah and Dean you guys were amazing. A must do if you’re in Queenstown.

The Best Tour Guide You Could Ever Ask For!

We joined the Cheeky Kiwi Tour to Mt Cook and were lucky enough to have Joe (from the UK) as our guide - and honestly, he made the entire experience unforgettable! From the moment we stepped on the bus, Joe set the tone with his warm personality, great sense of humour, and incredible knowledge of New Zealand’s landscapes and history. He kept the whole group engaged and laughing throughout the day, while still being super organized and attentive to everyone’s needs. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience - from photo stops in the most stunning spots to sharing hidden gems and local stories along the way. The drive to Mt Cook is already breathtaking, but Joe turned it into something truly special. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like a day out with a great friend who loves what he does.
