Important Travel Update

Coromandel Tours in November

Due to essential rebuild work on State Highway 25A, there will be daytime closures from Monday 10 November to Friday 21 November (8am–5pm, Monday to Saturday).

This will affect access across the Coromandel Peninsula and require us to take a significant detour. As a result, we may have less time to spend at Cathedral Cove during this period. Our team will adjust itineraries to ensure guests still enjoy a fantastic Coromandel experience, with beautiful scenic stops and local highlights included.

Amazing day!

Had an incredible day on this tour. Ark was an amazing guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to travel with. The hot pools were a blast, especially once you dug down to the perfect depth for that warm water. Cathedral Cove was absolutely stunning, and the viewpoint stop tied it all together with a magnificent panorama. Highly recommend!

Still good with bad weather

A really nice trip, where you get to see a bit of New Zealand. Cam Cameron was and is an excellent tour guide and gave us a lot of stories and experiences on the way. Even tho the weather wasn’t on our side, it was still really beautiful to see Hot Water Beach and Cathedral cove. And ending it all off with an ice cream

Stunning views and humourous tour guides!!

Kim and John were amazing tour guides! They were super fun! Kim’s humour kept me laughing! 😆 The beach views were absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend this tour! It was the highlight of my New Zealand trip!

Awesome Coromandel day trip!

I was able to book jusg the night before thr trip without any troubles. The trip was really well-paced and relaxing. We left hotel at 6.30am, had breakfast at Thames around 8am, visited Cathedral cove at 10am-12pm, lunch , hot water beach around 1pm, and back to hotel around 6pm. Hanoz was our guide. He was knowledgable, great safe driver, and punctual. Along the way, we had several toilet breaks and opportunities to top up snacks at local supermakets.

体力は必要

ナルニア国物語の映画ファンの私にとってカセドラルコーブに訪れる事がこのツアーのメインでしたが、ホットウォータービーチも晴天に恵まれとても楽しめました。カセドラルコーブはバスを降りてから結構なアップダウンの道を約45分、ホットウォータは砂浜を掘る必要があるので、どちらを訪れるにしても体力は必要だとつくづく思いましたが、歩き疲れた脚に温泉は最高に気持ち良かったです。

My great experience at Cathedral cove and Coromandel peninsula

Coromandel peninsula is amazing place to visit especially the cathedral cove.I booked the cathedral cove boat tour including the islands and it was great experience because I've seen the second largest sea cave in New zealand where in you can see the momo fish and a lot of snappers. I'm a nature lover and enjoyed the different rock formations and passing by the channel. I'm very thankful to HANUS the tour guide for last minute offer of the boat ride. My suggestion is please offer the boat ride to cathedral cove . Kudos to Hanus because he was really inserting his effort to dig into the sand to locate for a hot water to make our pool for our HOT WATER BEACH experience.

Great day out

The tour was super fun and locations awesome. Our guide Cam was funny and knew a lot of details and stories about New Zealand. Sadly the microphone on the bus broke so we couldn’t get more stories on the way back, but good music and great views made up for it. Each location had enough time to explore and walk in our own pace. Highly recommend this tour, everything worked as described, the small group had a great vibe and the day was super relaxing.

Superbe journée pour découvrir Cathedral Cove

Le format petite groupe et le fait qu’on ajuste le programme en fonction de la marée et du temps était top ! Cam a été un guide super et comme on avait le temps on a fait un dernier stop en plus pour découvrir les merveilles sur le chemins du retour. Je recommande vivement que vous soyez accompagné ou solo !

Absolutely amazing experience!

Best experience ever. Honaz, our guide was incredible, super friendly, even helped us dig our perfect spot in the sand! Length of the visit was perfect. We never felt rushed, and the small group made it personal and relaxed. Every stop was stunning, from Cathedral Cove to Hot Water Beach. Good snacks, good music, right price for that experience. I couldn’t recommend this tour more — if you want to discover the Coromandel in the best way possible, this is it!
