The departure time and itinerary for this tour differ slightly depending on the season you are travelling. In Summer (1st October - 30th April), you will travel to Arthur's Pass on the bus and return on the Tranzalpine train, arriving back in Christchurch at approx 7:30pm. In Winter (1st May - 30th September), you will travel to Arthur's Pass on the Tranzalpine train and return on the bus, arriving back in Christchurch at approx 5:00pm.
