Bookings
To ensure smooth processing and top-tier service, please provide the following when placing a trade booking:
- Traveller names, ages (adult/child), nationality.
- Desired departure date, pick-up location, any special needs (dietary, mobility, celebration).
- Agent reference or booking code, invoice details, and any promotional code being used.
For larger groups or custom itineraries we’re happy to quote separately - adjust departure time, pick-up, special inclusions and themed touring (e.g., photography, wilderness, local food & wine).

We did the tour to Milford sound today which was nothing short of excellent. The scenery was simply stunning. I would like to compliment Rhys your General manager who stepped in at the very last minute to cover for a sick tour guide. This speaks volumes about your company. He was an excellent guide with great knowledge and humour that helped make the fay so memorable. Travelling in a small group just 15 of us on a 16 seater mini bus and going on a smaller less commercial boat was a major plus in my opinion. We were not able to fly back from Milford sound due to the weather unfortunately The return journey passed quicker than expected with a great choice’s in music to keep us entertained Very much recommended Cheeky Kiwi Travel

20/10 Dream Day Visiting Milford Sound
This is hands down one of the best tour experiences I have ever had! My tour guide, Lynette, was charming, full of energy, and excitement. You can tell that she enjoys her job and has a deep love and appreciation for New Zealand and the area. We made many stops along the way to see various sights, which really helped break up the long journey from Queenstown to Milford Sound. Lynette shared a wealth of knowledge about everything we saw and experienced along the way. Despite some wanderers, she ensured we kept to our schedule so that we would not miss our boat's departure. We were provided a lovely lunch to enjoy in the van or take along on the boat. There was a sandwich, hearty root salad, apple, AND a variety of homemade baked goods in our lunches. I appreciated that the lunch was packed in an insulated lunch box, and when possible, they used reusable packaging to cut down on waste. The cruise was incredible, and I found our boat size to be perfect. There was plenty of space on the top deck for amazing views, or inside the cabin if you were feeling chilly. I never felt like there were too many people in my way to see things. Truly hard to believe a place like this exists. We even spotted a couple of penguins! We had an amazingly sunny and beautiful day, and I am delighted I opted to fly back to Queenstown from Milford Sound. Whatever your travel budget is, make room for the flight back to Queenstown. I was the only one who had pre-booked my flight back to Queenstown, but during the drive to Milford Sound, Lynette suggested others could upgrade to a flight instead of the bus. When I got off the cruise, I was promptly whisked away to the airport, which is about 1 minute away from the dock. I think Lynette was more excited for me to fly back to Queenstown than I was in that moment. Little did I know that I was about to see the most incredible views of my life. Even if you are a nervous flyer, the views you see from the plane will make you forget any fears you have. I would not hesitate to book this tour again. I will definitely book with Cheeky Kiwi Travel for any future New Zealand trips. They were great with their communication, and you can tell that the tour guides genuinely enjoy what they do. Thanks for making my first adventure to New Zealand AMAZING.

Bus in fly out
Well worth the trip. Shuttle was incredibly comfy. With WiFi and power charging stations. Lunch was delicious. Scenery was breathtaking and tons of photo stops. Tour guide was fantastic with diverse stories to keep all entertained. Ferry was beautiful with surprise wildlife appearances from seals and penguins. And flight back was well worth the splurge. Spectacular scenery all around.

Amazing day thanks to Cheeky Kiwi and their partners Cruise Milford and Glenorchy Air and the spectacular weather.
We had lovely day with Lynette driving to the sound stopping at some amazing places and Lynette giving us her well grounded local knowledge. It was really cool to see the mountains and streams from land. We jumped on the Cruise Milford vessel where Chris and Georgie shared their amazing part of the world with us. They had us up close and personal with the waterfalls in the Fjord and imparted great knowledge and some dad humour into the cruise. Was a great experience. Then we were lucky enough that flights were running so we flew back with Annabelle on Glenorchy Air. It was truly a spectacular flight and once again the local knowledge from Annabelle was amazing. Great day on Milford Sound drive, cruise, fly
Jeff was an amazing guide. He made the trip to Milford Sound outstanding . He was professional, really informative , and funny. All of us in our group said we were really glad we did the drive to Milford Sound. Spectacular scenery but made all the better through Jeff’s insights and information . I highly recommend this tour and fingers crossed you are lucky enough to get Jeff as your guide. We flew back and Michael, our pilot was outstanding also. We really appreciated the transport from the airport back to our starting place. Great day all around

Great guide and experience, underwhelming Milford Sound.
The tour was absolutely brilliant, not because of Milford Sound, but only because our guide was Jason and he was beyond brilliant! Jason was knowledgeable and absolutely entertaining. He made the whole bus feel at ease and with his nuggets of knowledge along the drive, the whole trip felt so much more wholesome. Milford Sound was okay. I'd come again for Jason, not Milford Sound.

Two Aussie’s do Milford Sound tour
We got an awesome day weather wise! Had an awesome guide Lynette! She had the most amazing energy… She was super lovely and informative! Our scenic stops were awesome for photo ops and just taking in the scenery… The most breathtaking views! We got to see some Kea, Weka and a Kereru as well that was pretty cool! The drive down is a bit windy in parts, so if you get car sick take something so you get to enjoy the scenic drive, there’s plenty of toilet stops, the packed lunch for the cruise was really good and healthy! We got lucky and saw some dolphins, seals and penguins on the cruise. Take a battery pack to charge your phone just incase! Like I mentioned above the weather was fantastic for a flight back! And if it wasn’t that would’ve been okay riding back in the van… Thanks Cheeky Kiwi we had an absolutely brilliant time 100/100 from us

Super professional, friendly and enjoyable trip to Hobbiton!
Our small group tour to Hobbiton with our very friendly and helpful guide Grant was fantastic from start to finish! We are a couple with two adult sons, all LOTR fans, and it was a massive thrill to see the rolling green hills of The Shire up close and personal! We went the day after landing in Auckland, and loved being able to just relax completely and enjoy the whole experience, while Grant drove and kept us entertained and informed with interesting facts about NZ's geology and history. The whole tour was extremely well-organised and smooth-running, and we enjoyed it immensely. To round things off, after a couple of days, we realised that my son had left something behind on the bus, and the company could not have been more helpful about getting it back to us promptly. Thankyou, Cheeky Kiwi!

Beyond our expectations!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Hobbiton today! We scheduled this tour many months ago, not really knowing what to expect. It was so much fun! The farmland where Hobbiton was built is absolutely beautiful, and it is not commercialized at all. We really appreciated the rural countryside. Our driver, Michael, was very good! He was very friendly, personable and easy to hear and understand. We appreciated the stops for restrooms and snacks along the route. We would use this company again for small group tours in New Zealand. They are very professionally run, with good, clear communication.

Perfect Day Trip to Hobbiton!
Had a fantastic time on this Hobbiton Set Tour with Cheeky Kiwi Travel! Simon was our Tour Group driver, and he went above and beyond to make the experience an 11/10. I was the last guest picked up at my hotel on our small group tour, and it would have been easy to rush me into the van for departure, but he still took the time and care to introduce himself and chat with me before I got into the shuttle van. Once I was in the van, he introduced each person to the group and asked us all an engaging question. This made it easier for me to connect with others on the tour as a solo traveler. On our drive, he was engaging, and we arrived with plenty of time to have lunch before the tour started. We had a perfect, sunny spring day, so after checking with the group, on our return drive we took a more scenic route back to Auckland, and we even made an unplanned stop for Hokey Pokey ice cream! He also gave lots of dinner recommendations for Auckland. Unfortunately, I got carsick on our drive back (jetlag will do that), and he took the time to check in with me throughout the drive. I don't do many guided excursions when traveling, but I was pleasantly surprised with my day with Simon and wouldn't hesitate to book with Cheeky Kiwi Travel the next time I return to New Zealand.

We had a wonderful day at Mt Cook through Cheeky Kiwi. The day was exciting and enthralling with plenty of activities and time to soak in the amazing atmosphere. Big shout out to Lynette and her offsider ( sorry forgot his name) for organising, driving and for their warm, engaging and hospitable manner. Fascinating day with the highlights being the hikes and the glacier views.

Mt Cook - a MUST do!!!
Cullen, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He gave us a lot of information on the way up to Mount Cook and offered some great suggestions. I ended up doing the heli / ski plane up to Mt Cook. Absolutely wonderful. Again, kudos to Cullen! He made it an experience for us to remember. He was very accommodating to different people doing different things.

Hi Cheeky Kiwi, I am traveling with four friends and had the good fortune to have Jonathan as a guide for our Mt. Cook. tour yesterday . It was a delightful day. The weather was perfect and the natural beauty of Mt. Cook was spectacular . Jonathan’s guidance and narration made the trip even more meaningful . He provided both historical and ecological information about the New Zealand region that made our day long journey very interesting. Jonathan was polite, professional and obviously proud of this wonderful country. Magnificent Mt Cook trip
Our pick up location was a bit confusing for our group as we had different pick up spots . We sorted it all out with Jonathan. He was a great guide, very professional, informative, and personable. He had lots of info to share. He gave us great suggestions for how to spend our day at Mt Cook. Mt Cook is an amazing landscape. Great day! Enjoyed the ice cream on the way back. First time seeing snow
We loved our experience of Mount Cook with the snow with Cheeky Kiwi. It was my first time seeing snow. Highly recommend this tour. What a stunning day, spectacular views and thanks to our amazing tour guides Noah and Dean you guys were amazing. A must do if you’re in Queenstown.

We joined the Cheeky Kiwi Tour to Mt Cook and were lucky enough to have Joe (from the UK) as our guide - and honestly, he made the entire experience unforgettable! From the moment we stepped on the bus, Joe set the tone with his warm personality, great sense of humour, and incredible knowledge of New Zealand’s landscapes and history. He kept the whole group engaged and laughing throughout the day, while still being super organized and attentive to everyone’s needs. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience - from photo stops in the most stunning spots to sharing hidden gems and local stories along the way. The drive to Mt Cook is already breathtaking, but Joe turned it into something truly special. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like a day out with a great friend who loves what he does. Well coordinated tour with wonderful, caring driver guide Colin. Highlights were the helicopter to and from the glacier and glacier hike with informative and friendly team leader. Had opportunities to taste very good locally created foods and take beautiful photos.

Dayton was an amazing driver and informative guide for all things in the South Island. The heli hike we booked (Mt Cook) was cancelled due to inclement weather but we were offered a smaller heli hike which was amazing. We landed on Mt Hutton which looks towards Mt Cook. It was an amazing experience and I recommend it highly. Thankyou so much for making our NZ trip amazing!!

Best experience
The heli hike tour is definitely once in a life time experience for me. The helicopter ride and a hike on Mt Cook was like a dream. The guide Lynatte is one of the sweetest person I have met in NZ. She is so knowledgeable and shared so many fun facts and history with us. She has a lovely cheerful personality. Love her!
